MedCerts is partnering with Goshen Health to create a unique train to hire program for individuals interested in becoming a Medical Assistant. Approved applicants will begin a 6-month online training program, with education expenses paid for by Goshen Health in exchange for a two-year work commitment. After completing their training, students start an externship to receive hands-on training at a Goshen Health facility. Candidates who complete their externship and pass their National Healthcareer Association exam will be hired on as a Medical Assistant for Goshen Health. Fill out the form to continue to part 2 of the application and connect with a Program Enrollment Advisor.
Medical Assistants are multi-skilled allied healthcare professionals who may administer medications, assist with minor procedures, record vital signs, take medical histories, prepare patients and rooms for examinations, handle laboratory specimens, provide patient education, and much more. Because of the specialized skill set and knowledge that is held by these professionals, they find themselves working in clinics, physicians’ offices, hospitals, outpatient facilities, and specialists’ offices across the country.
This Blended Learning train and hire opportunity is open to those 18 and older with a high school diploma. No prior healthcare experience or medical education is required for the program. During your training you'll experience:
Goshen Health will pay for 100% of your training expenses to complete the program in exchange for a two year work commitment.
Those who successfully complete their program and pass their certification exam will immediately start working at Goshen Health as a Medical Assistant.
In just six months, students can complete their MedCerts online training program and be ready to work. A realistic alternative to traditional education options.
